Manual Therapy is a specialized technique performed by physiotherapists in which they use their hands as opposed to a device or machine to mobilize the soft tissues and joints to help restore optimal function and mobility. This technique helps to decrease pain, reduce muscle spasm, muscle tension, and joint dysfunction while facilitating proper movement patterns.
